About Us
We are a small, quiet, private property in Huger, SC that takes great pride in our offering of Equine Facilitated Coaching and Horse Medicine Leadership. Our Lead Facilitator Heather, three horses Phoenix, Journey and Axel and our 2 goats Reco and Disco work together as a team to help guide our clients to excavate and cultivate new methods of self-discovery and empowerment. We work in partnership with our animals and nature and with their consent so that we achieve the highest levels of clarity and authenticity in their feedback.
We also offer Sound Healing/ Sound Baths and Sacred Ceremony such as Fire, Moon and Ceremonial Cacao. These ancient traditions have been performed throughout almost all cultures in history and we firmly believe that if shared with respect, reverance and honor, these cermonies can be catalysts to dramatic and affective change in each individual.
Heather brings her Facilitator Certification in Horse Medicine Leadership from her teacher and mentor, Hillary Schneider of Epona Rise Retreats as well as her experience with the study and instruction of “Neuroscience of Horses and Humans” with Hillary and Dr. Maia Love. She also can offer the benefit of knowledge and applied comprehensive training of a former PATH Certified 501C3 Therapeutic Riding Barn. She traveled to Kamloops, B.C. Canada for intensive and immersive training at Horse Medicine Leadership Academy (HMLA) while also devoting time to remote learning and the path of continuing education. She is a “forever learner” and knows that change comes whether we want it or not so we must be devoted and prepared for flexibility and pivoting when necessary.
My Story
Welcome to Restorative Souls Equine Coaching LLC. I’m Heather—a proud mother of 4, grandmother of 2 (for now), and lifelong equine enthusiast. Born and raised in the PNW and now enjoying life near Charleston, SC, I’ve always been drawn to the healing and intuitive presence of horses.
From childhood, every encounter with horses felt like “coming home”. Their gentle energy taught me about resilience, connection, and the transformative power of being true to oneself. Although my early career aspirations took other paths, my passion for helping others and my deep bond with horses has remained constant.
At Restorative Souls, we believe in the extraordinary power within each of us—especially women. Our space is dedicated to helping you release old fears, build new habits of alignment, and rediscover your authentic self through the guidance of our equine partners and coaching sessions.
Every step of my personal journey has deepened my understanding of the unique connection between humans and horses. I am excited and honored to share this transformative experience in person with you. We will share story and history with each other in order to help foster a bond of authentic connection.
